Layers
Sometimes I'm attracted to the natural layers that the lighting and scenery make. This was an early morning scene looking west at sunrise a couple of weeks ago. A few months ago this field had corn growing but we've had so much rain lately the fields are full earlier than usual.

Giving Thanks
"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands" (Psalm 19:1)
This was the sunrise this morning on a trip to Eugene, OR. I'm thankful for God, family, and life.
For those in the US, I hope you and your family have a blessed Thanksgiving Holiday!

McDonald's Sunrise
I left early for work last Thursday morning and stopped at McDonald's for coffee. After going through the drive-thru I noticed this view of the sunrise. I did some maneuvering with the car and snapped this shot. I tried to frame it so it didn't look like it was taken from a grocery store parking lot.
Saturday morning I had breakfast with a couple of friends at a different McDonald's. This is how it looked from the window right next to me.
I really don't hang out at McDonald's but I found last week that sometimes they can offer some interesting photo opportunities.

More Sunday Morning
Not as colorful as yesterdays photo of the sunrise but this is a view to the west of the larger of the two fields also filled with water. The color is much softer with the only evidence of the sunrise being a slight pink cast in the sky above the trees on the left.

Sunday Morning
It was a brisk 36 degrees yesterday morning as I rode my motorcycle to the county jail for chapel service. There's a certain section of the road that has low lying fields on both sides. One of the fields isn't too big and both have tree lines around them which make for some interesting shots, especially this time of year when the fields fill with water. Heading north as I rode down the blind curve to the right which brings me to the fields, this was the scene over the little one on the east side of the road.
I believe that God "paints" these scenes for us. I was blessed to be there with my camera. Tomorrow I'll show you what the big field looked like.
