An Oregon Autumn Morning

Some scenes from my travels this morning in the country.
Previous corn field.

This has been smoldering for a couple of weeks!

 Newly planted field.  Winter wheat?

An autumn driveway.

Backlit fence.

  1. I love your shots of the magical countryside. Today we had 2 inches of rain! That's really a lot for our area. Fortunately its the first rains and most of it soaked in instead of running off.
Thanks for visiting me and leaving a nice comment.

  2. Thank you Sue. The rain band must have stretched for most of the West Coast. We had a fair amount of rain today too. Glad to here that you got some good soaking rain.

  3. Mike these are so lovely. One word comes to mind when I see fields of "wheat" (or what I call wheat): Free. I'll post about it later as to why...

  4. That's a driveway I'd like to use everyday.

    Pat,
Yeah, that driveway would be nice to view everyday. Thanks for stopping by Pat!

  6. Very pretty scenery. I too love the autumn driveway. A pretty driveway to stroll down in the afternoon sun.

I finally stopped on my ride to take some pics. I heard the camera beeping, but didn't figure out until I got home...I didn't have the memory card in :(

  7. Kari,
What a bummer not having the memory card in. You'll have to repeat what you did today. Hope you had a nice dry ride! Thank you!
