Bridge to Nowhere?
I spent the last couple of days working at the North Coast where there was a big temperature difference compared to the rest of the state. It was about 35 degrees (F) cooler at the coast. Consequently, in various areas it was somewhat foggy. The marine air was fighting to come onshore which made for some interesting compositions. This is Yaquina Bay Bridge which spans the mouth of Newport Bay, one of the larger cities and a popular tourist spot. It looks like a bridge to nowhere!

I love the Fog,
ReplyDeleteway cool! ;)
Hi Jel - thank you! I like fog too. It can really change the light and you never know what you're going to get.
ReplyDeleteWow - what an image! So beautiful - and mystifying... love it!
ReplyDeleteThank you Stacey!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot Mike!!! I saw your photo on The World in Black and White and had to stop by!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a bridge to another place or time, and if you cross over you may never come back! Been watchin' too much sci-fi again. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely image and so different from many we see of this scene. The fog always makes it a mystery, a challenge, and often a treat getting a familiar scene with a fresh and unique look.
TheChieftess - thank you for stopping by and your kind comment!
ReplyDeleteKari - your sci-fi comment cracked me up. Thank you!
