Eugene is the second largest city in Oregon. It's located in the south end of the Willamette Valley which is our agricultural region. The University of Oregon is in Eugene. The city is noted for it's eclectic heritage and it's even home to a few 1960 holdovers from the hippie movement. I thought this downtown photo shows a little of the flavor of Eugene.

ReplyDeleteAhhh, graffiti! My sister in law and brother in law used to live there...they actually said it was quite a progressive city.

ReplyDeleteJoan - I searched that graffiti pretty hard to make sure there wasn't anything offensive. :) Eugene is exactly that... a progressive city.
