Last week while riding my motorcycle I spotted this weathered fence. The colors around the main focus of the fence caught my attention. It reminds me that I need to do some painting around our place. I guess the onset of Spring gives the awareness of upcoming outside projects.
I decided to try it in B&W and found that it makes the fence pop out. And it still needs painting.

ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty scene. I think I like the color version the best. The barn stands out a little more. The b&w has a nice range of tones and textures, especially around the fence and plantings. Ok, now I'm not sure which I like best...I never said I was decisive :)

ReplyDeleteThank you. I think I made the B&W version a little too dark but it really emphasized the weathered look of the fence. Thanks for noticing and I like your flip-flop. :)
That fence may need painting...but it makes for a beautiful image!

ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful place Mike and I think I need to get some painting done as well! I like the colors in the color version. It looks like they have a very nice view.
