  1. Hi Mike, fabulous "aerial perspective" on this shot.
Reference your choice of the next camera. I think the 7D comes out on top. It has similar Mega Pixel rating, it will take any EF-S lens you have (the 5D mk2 wont.) The 7D shoots more frames per second for catching wildlife action. More auto focus points. It has a more advanced processor. Its a more recent model which always makes a difference with Canon models. Most importantly its less expensive.{:)
The 5D being full frame is supposed to produce the better image, (the 7D is APS-C), if everything else the 7D does suits you better then thats the one to go for.

  2. Jel - thank you for visiting and your comment!

    Roy,
Thank you very much for your input! Others have said what you've said but you make a distinct point about the 7D being a more recent model and the difference that makes. The fact that it's less expensive and has far more features than the 5D is a strong pull. I greatly appreciate your advice - thanks again!

  7. Very nice image Mike. I love the layering effect of the mountains fading back to Jefferson. The mountains are my favorite place.
    Happy valentines day!
