With every new opportunity a door is opened. It's our choice to either walk through the door or stay where we are. If we choose to walk through the door we usually don't know where the opportunity will lead. Ultimately we must either trust in ourselves or the One who opens the door.
I choose to trust Him!! Great post!
ReplyDeleteYour photos here really impress me. I want to be like you when I grow up.
ReplyDeleteImagine how the 12 felt when they were invited by Jesus to follow him through a new doorway, so to speak. Amazing how faith enables us to let go of the railing and take the next step, isn't it?
The photo has a nice message - and it seems like this open door has some stairs to climb - does this mean a more challenging choice? Overcoming fears? Or maybe the stairs to climb closer to our relationship with Him? In any case, the image, and the words ring so true in so many ways to interpret. I like the b/w and the lighting that lights up that doorway!
ReplyDeleteNice black and white!!! An open door--into the light--trusting my Lord who will take my hand, and lift me up ever step of my life!!! Thanks for the reminder!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful black & white. Really nice exposure and soft lighting along the interior. I tend to hold back walking through unknown doors. Trust issues I suppose. But in the end I usually go, as staying behind just doesn't work.
ReplyDeleteI'll say it again, Mike your photography, especially these monochromes are really progressing nicely.
Thanks to all of you for your thoughts and comments!
