Saturday Spring Yard Ballet

It's Saturday. The grass is long and there's no rain in the forecast. Throughout the neighborhood the sound of mowers pierce the subconscious like a distant orchestra.  All of this is done with the grace and precision of a ballet.  Actually, I just took a quick stop to capture my neighbor mowing his lawn.

  1. Wow - that's some plush green grass! And, looks like a lot, too! Good thing you've got riding lawn mowers!

All this rain has really made it green and lush. One must stay on top of the mowing these days! Thank you. :)

Yes, that's the other aspect too, Roy... the smell! Thank you. :)

That's nice that you have a shorter mowing season. I spoke with a guy at church this morning who moved here last summer from Portland, ME. He's still adjusting to our rain. :) Thanks for commenting!

It does look like they're dancing in circles with each other.

It doesn't take too long to mow but I'd rather be on two wheels than four. :)

  8. Yep two wheels are always better than four! I noticed today that at certain speeds the Ninja sounds an awful lot like a lawn mower! :O
